I love my Glock 19 and 26, but I found that they were shooting 3 inches at 20 feet with the cameras registered. I tried the lowest plastic rear cam available as well as the Glock adjustable rear cam in its lowest position with no success. I decided. Looking to try the latest OEM version before buying expensive aftermarket sights, I found the 6.1mm steel camera to be just what I needed. While the 6.1mm plastic camera should be at the same height, if you look closely at the notch on the back, it's not. You will notice that it sits higher than the steel cam. With this sight and the Glock steel front sight, my pistols are at 20-25 feet, which is the distance I usually shoot. A cleaner looking image than the original plastic cameras, which can only help with accuracy. No, you do not need a sight suppressor to install the rear. I wrap the sight dovetails like I do on my other rifles and they fit well. My only gripe is that these sights should cooperate my standard on all Glocks, not the crappy plastic sights.
It was exactly what I was looking for. Glock packages its pistols with plastic sights, knowing that almost every owner will upgrade anyway. However, the plastic rear camera can move and even fall after a while. Upgrade to metal sights.
The Glock 23 was like an inch or two at 10yds, finally with this sight it fixed the problem. It is now dead center.
